What’s the difference between Mailing Address and Lake Address?
Your mailing address is the address to which you would like the BLPOA to mail correspondence. Your lake address is the address of your lake property. If you are a full-time resident of the Barbee chain, then your mailing address and lake address are likely the same. BLPOA members who don’t permanently reside on the Barbee chain usually use their permanent address as their mailing address.
What format should be used for Telephone Number?
Please enter your telephone number in the format XXX‑XXX‑XXXX. For example, if your telephone number is (574) 555‑1212, please enter it as 574‑555‑1212.
What is a Prop ID?
The Prop ID (or property ID) is a nine digit identifier in the format XXX‑XXX‑XXX, assigned by the county that uniquely identifies a parcel of land. If you are a current BLPOA member, you can find your property ID on the front of the dues envelope that you were sent in the mail. If you can’t find your property ID, you can leave blank that space on the form.
How will my payment to the BLPOA be credited?
The first $50 paid in a year will be applied towards your BLPOA membership dues. Any amount in excess of $50 will be applied as a donation to our Weed Control / Lake Enhancement fund. The suggested donation is $2 per foot of shoreline or $50 for lake access lots.
